Several important parameters of industrial LCD screen include: resolution, interface, brightness, viewing angle, contrast and working temperature. Today we will introduce two parameters of industrial LCD screen: brightness and viewing angle
Brightness refers to the brightness of the screen, the maximum brightness of the LCD screen under the white picture, the unit is candela per square meter (cdgm2), or nits. LCD back light source provides lighting, so improving the brightness of the screen is mainly achieved by improving the brightness of the backlight.
Generally, the brightness of ordinary industrial LCD is about 450-600 CD / m2, and some high brightness LCD can reach 800 CD / m2, 1000 CD / m2 or even higher, which can meet the needs of industrial LCD in outdoor sheltered environment. Some sizes and models of industrial LCD screens with even higher brightness have been mass produced. They are 1500cd / m2 and 1600cd / m2 and can be read directly in outdoor sunlight. The selection of appropriate brightness has a lot to do with the application environment of the product. If the viewing distance is generally large, it is suitable to choose the model with higher brightness.
The visual angle of industrial LCD screen refers to the angle that users can clearly observe all the contents on the screen from different directions. The size of the viewing angle determines the size of the user's viewing range and the best viewing angle. If it is too small and the user deviates slightly from the front of the screen, the screen will lose color. General users can use 120 degree visual angle as the selection criteria. The visual angle of industrial LCD screen can reach 178 degrees, that is to say, the content displayed can be clearly seen from any direction in front of the screen. The wide view display can reach 178 degrees. Once the user has exceeded the actual visual range during the use, the color of the screen will decrease, darken, and even the positive image will become negative.
