LCD screen is divided into industrial display and ordinary consumer display. Compared with the price alone, industrial display screen is much higher than that of ordinary consumers. 1. Reliability
Industrial display is more reliable. Industrial display is mainly used in industrial automation, medical and military display, and special seismic design is adopted for the difference from ordinary display. The industrial level LCD can reach the working temperature of -30-80 ℃, which is more stable and reliable in the environment of worse screen than that of consumer type
2. Supply cycle
Compared with consumer display, the long-term supply of industrial LCD is more than 3 years. For 3 years (8.4 inch, 10.4 inch, 12.1 inch, 15 inch, 17 inch, 19 inch, 21.5 inch), many LCD modules have been supplied for 10 years. Compared with the stable supply now, the supply cycle of consumer LCD is interrupted from half a year to one year, which affects the whole project process.
3. Display brightness
Because most ordinary LCD products are used in indoor environment, the brightness of ordinary industrial display is almost 250/300cd/m2 (pure black screen).
This brightness level display can not be satisfied even in industrial environment. This is because the environment is more light, and its brightness is easier than that of LCD backlight source. Therefore, the display effect becomes very poor when the brightness of the LCD backlight source is exceeded. In addition, touch panels are often used in industrial environments, which also reduces the brightness of the display and looks darker.
In the general medical and industrial applications, the required brightness must be at least 450cd/m2, but most of the industrial LCD can meet the parameters of the highlighted display. For consumers in the industrial market, the service life of the display terminal used in medical equipment is always more than 5W hours for the life of the back light source. The working life of consumer screen is 3W hours. After more than 3W, the backlight of the screen aging, but the backlight life of the industrial screen is at least 5 watts. If the longer time reaches 7W, 10W hours, and 24 hours in a row, it can continue to work for 5 and a half years. Industrial display has unimaginable advantages and characteristics in the above-mentioned general consumer displays, so it can work normally in more demanding industrial environment.
