TFT LCD is used in outdoor or semi outdoor links, some application environment needs to consider the reflection and light transmission, so TFT LCD needs to paste anti reflection glass and anti glare glass on the surface of LCD. 1. What is anti reflective glass
Antireflective glass is also known as high transmittance glass. Ar glass is based on the principle of optical thin film interference. By vacuum magnetron reactive sputtering, nano optical multilayers with a certain film structure are deposited on the glass substrate. The visible light transmittance of the glass is increased from 91% to more than 98%, and the reflectance is reduced from 8% of ordinary glass to less than 2% (up to 0.2%) It can effectively improve the penetrating power and weaken the defect of the white picture caused by the strong light behind, so as to enjoy the clearer image quality.
2. What is anti glare glass
Anti glare glass is also called anti reflection glass or non reflection glass. It is a kind of glass with special surface treatment. The principle is to process high quality glass on one or both sides. Compared with ordinary glass, it has a lower reflectance, so that the reflectance of light is reduced to less than 1%, so as to reduce the interference of ambient light, improve the clarity of the picture, reduce the reflection of the screen, make the image clearer and lifelike, and let the viewer enjoy a better visual effect.
Anti glare glass reduces the reflectivity of glass surface ≤ 2%, transmittance ≥ 80, glossiness ≥ 60.
3. Optical index requirements
Light transmittance [2]: 88% min. (380-700nm visible wavelength range), measured by spectrophotometer.
Gloss:
(1) Test instrument: wgg-60 gloss meter
(2) Test method: as shown in the figure below, select 5 points on the original film for glossiness test, in which the instrument reads once every 90 degrees of rotation on each point, a total of two times, and then take the average of 10 times of test data to get the glossiness value of the original film. Note that for single side anti glare glass, the anti glare treatment surface must be tested.
(3) Gloss standard:
a. There are two kinds of anti glare glass glossiness purchase specifications: 100 ± 10 and 80 ± 10, IQC according to 100 ± 13 and 80 ± 15 for incoming inspection.
b. For normal size glass with size ≤ 20 ", the difference between the gloss * * value and the minimum value of the same piece of glass should be ≤ 10;
Large size glass with size > 20 "requires that the difference between the minimum value and the minimum value of glossiness * * of the same piece of glass should be less than 20.
