LCD screen driver is the connection bridge between the motherboard and the screen. Many industrial LCD screens may be powered by Raspberry PI with an HDMI interface, which is the most convenient way to connect. The LCM (Liquide Crystal Module) usually does not directly support HDMI interface, which requires an HDMI driver board to achieve signal input. Of course, like windows hosts, VGA is also an optional solution.
For lcd manufacturers, LCD driver board is a supporting service. For 5.0inch, 7.0inch, 10.1 inch and other sizes LCD, we have ready-made driver solutions, including MCU, SPI, HDMI and VGA interface. All signal conversion can be achieved by adding a LCD driver board, it is convenient for customers to use directly.
Of course, sometimes your platform is special. For example, a 4.3inch, 5.0inch or 7.0inch LCD only supports SPI interface. The original LCD module does not support SPI interface, and the data transfer rate is really slow. At this size, the display will have a relatively high resolution, which in principle is not suitable for SPI interface. Is there no solution? Of course not! We can add an SPI driver board with cache and font library, so that your product can directly drive SPI interface, reduce your development time and cost.
In the field of liquid crystal display, customer demands are various. Maybe the customer needs a 4.3inch or 5.0inch MCU screen, unfortunately, the driver IC of this size screen does not support MCU interface. At this time, we will find a way to add an RGB to MCU circuit, so that the 4.3inch or 5.0inch MUC screen support MCU interface through the FPC or TCON PCB. This is an ideal solution. Of course, cost will increase, but it is still a more economical option than changing your development platform. Capacitive screens have 2 interfaces: I2C and USB, some customers like USB interface, some prefer I2C, and some need both. We can meet all demands, and can even merge the interfaces of the LCD module, so that customers can assemble conveniently.
