How to achieve multiple touch with capacitive touch screens

  The inside of the capacitive touch screen is composed of the drive electrode and the receiving electrode. The drive electrode emits a low -voltage and high -frequency signal projected to the receiving electrode to form a stable current. When the human body is exposed to the capacitive screen, the finger and the capacitor screen form an equivalent effect due to the human body grounding.


  The high -frequency signal can flow into the ground through this equivalent capacitor, so the amount received by the receiving end is reduced. When your fingers are close to the transmitting end, the charge decreases more obvious. Finally, the contact point is determined according to the current intensity received by the receiving terminal. As for multiple touch, simply speaking, the screen is blocking. Each group of mutual modules in each area work independently. The capacitor screen can independently detect the touch of each area, and can achieve multiple touch after processing.


  Touch screen (capacitive touch screen) uses the current sensor from the human body. The capacitive screen is a four -layer composite glass screen. The inner and middle layers of the glass screen are coated with ITO (nanometer indium-tin-oxide). The outer layer is 0.0015 mm thick quartz glass protective layer, the middle layer is coated with ITO working surface, and four electrodes are formed four corners. The inner layer is a shielding layer to ensure the working environment.


  When the user touches the capacitor screen, due to the effect of the electric field, the user's finger and the working surface form a coupling capacitor. Because there is a high -frequency signal on the working surface, the finger absorbs very small currents, flows out of the electrodes of the four corners of the screen. The current is theoretically proportional to the distance from the fingers to the four corners. The response speed is less than 3ms, which can reach 99% accuracy.
