The Action Principle and Product Structure of Infrared Touch Technology
The infrared touch screen operates in the mechanism of infrared LEDs, which are arranged on the two adjacent border edges of the PCB, while the photoelectric sensors are located on the two opposite edges, serving as transmitters and receivers. LEDs emit infrared radiation simultaneously to form a beam of light on the entire display. When users want to send signals through touch, they can send signals by interrupting the beam with a physical object. Since each infrared LED is independent, the touch screen can achieve positioning by analyzing the reduction of light at the corresponding photoelectric sensor. The signal is then processed by the control circuit and sent to the PC to display the coordinates of the touch event on the screen or be used by other software for related signal operations.
