        What is the structure and principle of a TFT LCD display screen? The LCD panel consists of backlight, polarizer, transparent electrode (control circuit), LCD, color filter, and polarizer?


       When linearly polarized light shines on the slit above, it rotates together with the liquid crystal molecules. When linearly polarized light shines on the slit below, it has already rotated 90 degrees. When voltage is applied between the upper and lower surfaces, the liquid crystal molecules are arranged in the direction of the electric field, forming a vertical arrangement. At this time, the incident light is not affected by the liquid crystal molecules, and the straight line cannot shoot out of the lower surface. Different voltage values determine the angle of liquid crystal deflection.


        So the screen usually uses internal LED as the light source, emitting white light. Then, by combining multiple different frequencies of light waves, we know that white light is a light wave. So, as teachers, we can use a filter film to improve the color we want. Although the wavelength of each color of visible light has a certain range, we do not need to represent the wavelength of each color separately.


        Because all colors in nature can be obtained by combining the different intensities of red, green, and blue wavelengths (RGB colors), this is commonly referred to as the principle of three primary colors. Therefore, these three types of light are commonly referred to as tricolor light or tricolor light. The three colors are filtered out through a filter film, and then the rotation angle of the liquid crystal is adjusted by changing the driving voltage, thereby changing the amount of light passing through RGB sub-pixels. Rich color expressions are obtained by using the principle of additive color mixing.


       Due to the use of liquid crystal molecules to twist the internal control of light on and off, and the twisting of liquid crystal molecules requires a developmental process, the response time of LCD displays is not significantly longer than other display lifestyles.


     Especially in small amplitude grayscale changes between all black and all white, it is necessary to apply a small voltage to accurately and finely analyze and control the angle. Therefore, the twisting speed of liquid crystal molecules is slower.


      Therefore, the refresh rate of the screen is also limited by liquid crystal materials, and future display technologies will become more diverse.
