Under the normal use of TFT LCD module, the center value of VCOM is consistent with that of vpixel, and the difference between vpixelh and vpixell is consistent with that of vcomh and vcoml. In this case, the flicker phenomenon will not appear in TFT LCD module. If the center value or difference of the two voltages deviates, the flicker phenomenon will appear in TFT LCD.
For the TFT LCD flash screen (flicker), if line inversion is used, the phenomenon is as follows: take a display module to shake up and down, many horizontal stripes appear, and after the shaking stops, the horizontal stripes reduce or disappear, most obvious in the gray scale. If frame inversion is used, the phenomenon is that there is a flicker of light and shade in the whole picture. For TFT LCD flasher, the improvement method is to adjust the voltage VCOM of common electrode.
By adjusting the value of VCOM and vcomh, we try to adjust which direction can make the flicker lighter, and finally determine the best effect on a specific value. However, because the adjustment of VCOM and vcomh is jump rather than continuous change, sometimes the flicker can only be adjusted to an unobvious state, which can not be solved completely. If you are not satisfied, you can try to adjust gamma or change to frame inversion mode, because the human eye can't distinguish the flash screen larger than 100Hz, So in this mode, a slight flicker can't be distinguished.
For a fixed IC, the values of VCOM and vcomh are not fixed, the matching panels are different, the VDD voltage supplied by customers is different, and the change of gamma value will have an impact on vpixel, resulting in the generation of flicker.
