TFT LCD is the abbreviation of thin film transistor liquid crystal display, which means thin film transistor liquid crystal display. TFT LCD is a technology of fine micro electronic processing on Si, which is transplanted to large area glass for TFT array processing. Then, the array substrate is combined with another substrate with color filter film. By using the mature LCD technology, a liquid crystal box is formed. After the process, such as the film coating, the LCD is formed.
The TFT LCD structure is mainly composed of three parts: color filter (CF), TFT array substrate and backlight component, as shown in Figure 1
Principle and structure of TFT-LCD
The imaging method of TFT LCD is to pour liquid crystal layer between the upper and lower transparent electrodes, and control the electric field of liquid crystal interlayer by pouring pixel electrode voltage, so as to adjust the intensity of light transmission, so as to produce gray level image between full bright and full dark. Each pixel of TFT-LCD has a set of TFTs to control its voltage value. In order to make the light generated by the backlight and transmitted through the LC have different colors, it needs three kinds of color blocking films of red, blue and green (R / B / g) to form a full-color effect on CF glass with gray scale; After the fabrication of TFT array and CF substrate, LC is poured between the CF upper plate and the TFT lower plate, and then the polarizer is attached. This process is called "LCD process".
The last "LCM process" is the Ji process of driving IC, PCBA and glass substrate, then the Ma process of backlight assembly, and finally the lighting detection of the module, as shown in Figure 2.
